About us - A little bit of history

Già nel 1450, a Siena, operavano le botteghe artigiane delle famiglie Staccioli; presso queste si forgiavano armature, stemmi nobiliari, si confezionavano bandiere, scudi...
Fra i maestri artigiani se ne distinsero alcuni in particolare che rivolsero il proprio estro artistico verso la pittura e la scultura.

Nel corso dei secoli, fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri, gli Staccioli sono rimasti artigiani e pittori, a Siena e in altre città della Toscana, dell'Umbria e della Liguria; coloro invece che operano in altri settori artistici, quali quello cinematografico teatrale e musicale, vivono attualmente per lo più nella capitale.

Sonia Staccioli, la titolare della bottega d'arte "Bianco e Nero", è una maestra d'arte  ed ha come collaboratori le sorelle Simona e Giada, maestre d'arte, e suo padre Walter autodidatta.

Already in 1450, in Siena, the Staccioli families worked in its laboratories: were forged armor, coats of arms, were made flags, shields...
Among the artisans, some master craftsman turned his artistic talent in painting and sculpture.
Over the centuries, right up to today, the Staccioli remained artisans and painters, in Siena and other cities of Tuscany but not only.

And those who currently operate in other artistic fields, such movie theater and music, live mostly in the capital, Rome.
Staccioli Sonia, the owner of the art workshop "Bianco e Nero", is a teacher of art and have as collaborators sisters Giada and Simona, master artists; and his father autodidact, Walter.
